The collective – the Scientific Council of the Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning of Serbia – hereby expresses its support for the students of the University of Belgrade and other universities in Serbia

The scope of the SINARG 2025 conference is intentionally broad, encompassing a wide range of topics to reflect the dynamic and interdisciplinary nature of these fields. By encouraging diversity in themes, we aim to stimulate fresh perspectives, foster cross-disciplinary dialogue, and address pressing challenges in the built environment and beyond.

The Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning of Serbia, in collaboration with seventeen European organizations and institutions is participating in the international project NONA – New Governance for New Spaces within the Interreg Danube call.

On Friday, September 20, 2024, a scientific-professional symposium titled “Sustainable Development – Vector of Serbia to the Future” was held.

A call for applications is announced for the Institute for Architecture and Urbanism of Serbia awards for the best master’s theses and doctoral dissertations in the fields of architecture, urbanism, and spatial planning for the year 2024.

The MINIPART project team paid a study visit to the School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy at the University College Dublin (UCD).

The training of surveyors was held at the premises of the Institute for Architecture and Urban Planning of Serbia. Dr. Milena Toković (Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade) and MA Dušanka Milosavljević (Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory) conveyed theoretical and practical knowledge to the young survey team, which the surveyors will apply in fieldwork with the residents of the City of Bor and the Municipality of Majdanpek during this summer.

Thanks to the financial support of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, the website of the MINIPART project was launched in Serbian and English.

The Scientific Council of the Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning of Serbia advocates for the preservation and reconstruction of protected immovable cultural properties, specifically the ensembles of the General Staff and the Ministry of Defence by architect Nikola Dobrović, and the Belgrade Fair compound by architect Milorad Pantović and engineers Branko Žeželj and Milan Krstić.
