Participation of IAUS in the exhibition Planning Networking 4, organized by the Association of Spatial Planners of Serbia

As part of the IX Scientific and professional meeting with international participation “Local self-government in planning and development of space and settlements”, on Silver Lake, from June 16 to 18, 2022, the exhibition Planning Networking 4 was organized.

As part of the exhibition, spatial and urban plans (spatial plans of special purpose areas, spatial plans of local self-government units and general urban plans) adopted in the period from 2018 to 2022, as well as studies, strategic – development documents of importance for local self-government, are exhibited. The exhibition is a continuation of the successful exhibition held in 2012, 2014 and 2018 and aims to present the results of the preparation of planning documents in the Republic of Serbia, as well as countries in region, achieved by renowned institutions in the field of spatial planning and urbanism.

On the first day of the meeting, June 16, 2022, in the Hotel “Danubi Park” on Silver Lake (Veliko Gradište), a ceremonial opening of the meeting was held with a cocktail of the president of the municipality, representatives of the relevant ministries, presentation of introductory papers, as well as the ceremonial opening of the exhibition.

The Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning of Serbia participated in all categories of spatial plans and projects, with the following works selected: Spatial Plan of the Republic of Serbia (1996, 2010-2021, 2021-2035 (in the adoption procedure)), Spatial Plan of the Special Purpose Area of ​​the Special Nature Reserve “Mileševka River Gorge” (2020), Plan for the general regulation of the urban settlement of Bor (2018), Plan for the detailed regulation of the tourist complex “Špit” in the municipality of Veliko Gradiste (2021), Urban project for the construction of a main gas pipeline (interconnector) between the border of Bulgaria and the border of Hungary, section 1, phase 4 on the territory of the municipalities of Ćuprija and Paraćin (2019), the Center for Ecology and Sports Development and the Red Cross of Kosovo and Metohija on the shore of Lake Gazivode (2018).
