From June 10 to 13, 2025, the regular meeting of the NONA project partners took place in Veszprém, Hungary. The event was hosted by the City Administration of Veszprém. The event was attended by representatives of NONA partners from Serbia, members of the working teams of the Institute of Architecture and Urban&Spatial Planning of Serbia, as well as the City Administration of the City of Šabac.
The primary objective of the semi-annual project meeting held in Veszprém was to present the progress of individual partners within the NONA project and to prepare the partner cities for future investment-oriented promotion of pilot projects. Special focus was placed on the development and presentation of pilot sites to potential investors through a structured investor presentation session. Through their comments, the investor representatives sought to help the pilot sites enhance the level of presentation, offer, and prepare for future discussions with investors.
Representatives of the Institute of Architecture and Urban&Spatial Planning of Serbia and the City of Šabac presented the pilot site Letnjikovac in Šabac, outlining the steps, promotions and initiatives implemented so far. Part of the presentation included a video that introduced the Festival Day and the local competition exhibition at Letnjikovac, which took place on May 30, 2025, for other partners and guests. Through a vivid and emotional presentation, the film provided insight into the participatory energy and local creativity that are among the foundations of the pilot project in Šabac.
In addition to the presentations, an investor panel was organized, which helped meeting participants gain insight into how investors perceive different investment locations and what their focus has been in the various projects they have implemented so far. In addition to the ongoing discussion at the meeting regarding various project topics, the partners had the opportunity to visit the pilot site in the city of Veszprém.
