By fostering collaboration between the <strong>public, private, and civil sectors<\/strong>, the project strengthens <strong>institutional capacities<\/strong> in cities and promotes the implementation of <strong>new financing instruments<\/strong> for urban development, in line with the principles of a <strong>green and just economy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the project, IAUS is actively involved in developing a <strong>methodology<\/strong> to encourage <strong>green investments<\/strong> in the regeneration of <strong>degraded urban areas<\/strong>. This methodology will be tested in cooperation with urban planning experts in the <strong>City of \u0160abac<\/strong>, as well as in <strong>nine other cities across the Danube region<\/strong>. The findings from these pilot cases will be synthesised and further developed into the <strong>Green Investment Model<\/strong>, which will serve as a <strong>guide for local communities<\/strong> to plan and finance projects that support the transition towards <strong>new, sustainable governance models for urban and territorial development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Institute of Architecture and Urban &#038;
